New opening hours

Info opening hours

We have been open every single day since February 1, 2025. This was an experiment to determine whether it is financially sustainable to remain open on Hardangervidda year-round. So far, it is not. Visitor numbers are far too low throughout the autumn and parts of the winter. Our opening hours will therefore be as follows:

The café closes at 18:00 on September 4, 2026, and reopens on March 12, 2027.

Fagerheim Fjellstugu closes for overnight stays from September 7, 2026, and reopens on January 21, 2027.
